A new Student Learning Zone has been opened in the James France Building, in D.0.03, located close to the James France exhibition area.

The Student Learning Zone – which is available to all students between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday – can be accessed using a University staff or student card. It contains three distinct zones:

• Individual Zone – containing 12 PCs and a networked MFD to enable printing, photocopying and scanning to email

• Comfy Zone – containing sofas, a data projector and writing surface

• Group Zone – containing two interactive whiteboards with connected PCs, two group tables and flipcharts

The space is non-bookable and has been designed for informal use. It has an award-winning wireless network capability and is supported by the Facilities Management AV Technicians. If an equipment demonstration, training or support to upload the interactive whiteboard software onto a laptop is required, please email TeachingSupport@lboro.ac.uk or alternatively call (01509) 222199.
